The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has debunked a fake report currently going viral on the internet that the university has reopened its portal to allow candidates seeking admission to change their courses.
FUOYE Registrar, Mr Ibrahim Mufutau, said, “A social media report which directs candidates seeking admission into the University to proceed to its portal and change their courses for admission opportunities is fake and should be disregarded”.
The Registrar said in a statement on Saturday, “The report is fake and should be disregarded by everyone to avoid being deceived or scammed by internet fraudsters.
“FUOYE has since closed its portal for change of course, screening or any related activities and will conclude the admission process very shortly,“ the Registrar stated.
