EKSU Alumni Association pledges more support to Alma Mata, members worldwide

* Hails ranking among varsities with strong alumni

The global body of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, EKSU Alumni Association has pledged continuous support for the state-owned institution of higher learning and its members worldwide.

This followed the rating of EKSU Alumni Association among the 15 best universities with strong alumni networks in Nigeria by infoguidenigeria.com

Reacting to this feat, the Alumni Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, fnse, fnice, in a statement made available to newsmen by the PRO, Comrade Olumide Abudu in Ado-Ekiti said EKSU’s Alumni network was premised on dedication to creating a strong network of professionals who positively impact society.

According to Engr Bamisaye, the network offers mentorship programmes, scholarships, and career development initiatives, structural development, policy formulation and empowering students to achieve their goals.

“We would continue to do more for our members, the institution and the students in order to achieve our set goals “.

“We will not relent especially on what we are doing in the areas of fasttracking process of Transcripts and Certificates also in providing hostel accommodations to existing students, both undergraduates and postgraduate”.

The Global President, while stating that a strong alumni network is a valuable asset for any educational institution, also noted that EKSU Alumni Association has fostered vibrant and influential alumni networks.

He maintained that the Association through the networks have made significant contributions to the institution and society as a whole.

Bamisaye added that the alumni’s achievements and active involvement in various sectors serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for current students, creating a legacy of excellence and success.

He, once again, congratulated two of the alumni, Rt Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, Speaker of the Ekiti Assembly now National Vice Chairman, Conference of Speakers in the country; and Dr Tope Fasua, Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters in the Office of the Vice President.
