The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, on his inauguration as the pioneer Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Babura, Jigawa State.
The revered monarch is to be inaugurated Chancellor of the institution on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Aiyedatiwa stated, “Kabiyesi, this is a well-deserved honour and a testament to your exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to education and national development.
“I have no doubt that your management expertise, wisdom and benevolence will inspire and motivate the academic populace and influence the growth of the University.
“I look forward to seeing your positive impact on the University and I wish you a successful tenure.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Ondo State, I congratulate a revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Olowo of Owo, on his inauguration as the pioneer Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Babura, Jigawa State,” the governor stated.
