WITH less than three weeks to the commencement of Ekiti State arts and culture festival, EKIFEST 2024, the state Ministry of Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy is calling on Nigerians and indeed the world to be part of the unique experience.
The Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Prof. Rasaki Ojo Bakare, said, “Come, let’s celebrate the richness of our heritage, our culture, our values, our local crafts and our arts.
EKIFEST will hold from.August 6 to August 10, 2024 at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Fajuyi, Ado Ekiti.
Ojo Bakare sated, “Ekiti State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy brings you a unique edition of EKIFEST, loaded with scintillating content:
* Arts Exhibition Fair, running all through:
* “Langbodo”, a command performance, directed by Africa’s finest Stage Director and Arts Scholar, Rasaki Ojo Bakare.
* Inter-local government arts competition as well as the participation of many friendly, cultural agencies, institutions, states and the FCT.
“Prepare therefore to optimize the experience of the fiesta.
Come and witness the display of raw strength as EKIFEST 2024 features traditional wrestling called “Udi”, Cuisine competition, Dressing Making competition plus music and drama contest.
