The matriarch of the Seríkí-Ajalemo Family and the Eyeloja of Igede-Ekiti, Chief (Mrs) Alice Aduke Seriki, is dead.
Mrs Aduke Seriki, died on Thursday at the age of 90 years.
Her son, Yomi Seriki, a publicist and oil magnate, Yomi Seriki, made the announcement of the mother’s passage.
He stated, “It is with profound sadness and total submission to the will of God that I announce the passing of my beloved mother and matriarch of the Seríkí-Ajalemo family, Chief (Mrs) Alice Aduke Seriki, the Eyeloja of Igede-Ekiti.
“She was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, and her loss leaves a deep void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
“Chief (Mrs) Alice Aduke Seriki is survived by her devoted husband, children, and grandchildren, who are united in mourning of her loss.
“I am forever grateful for the precious time I had with her, and I find solace in the knowledge that she is now resting in eternal peace. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen”, Yomi Seriki stated.
