LETTER TO MY LOVE @ 50
By Muyiwa Adeyemi
I celebrate you every day but I celebrate you especially today as you turn 50 years.
Indeed, you have been a precious gold that beautifies my life and everything about me. You are unique in many ways, but most importantly you are strong everywhere I am weak to strengthen me. That’s why many see me as a perfect gentleman with little noticeable mistakes. You have covered me. You know my weaknesses more than I do. You have made many corrections and achieved many while I promise to work on others.
You built a home I dreamt of and thought impossible. You gave all you have to train our children with sound moral values and academic prowess. They are shining examples and pride to the family and the Christendom.
When we have enough to eat, we eat with others and whenever we do not have much, you accept whatever is available with love and smiles. With this rare attitude and character you always give me peace of mind.
You always protect me and hate to see me troubled. Indeed, you always hide it from me when you are inconveniencing yourself to make me happy. How many women can do this?
I remember when we were to give birth to Teniola, I traveled but you went through the painful labour alone without telling me, only to call me to hear the cry of my son. People around me that day could not believe it. This is who you are.
Your passion for the less privileged and vulnerable children and people in the society is exemplary. I am always amazed seeing you thinking of solving other people’s problems and forgetting your own. If you have your way, nobody will suffer in this world. And this is the reason behind your Amazing Grace Children Rights Foundation, through which you cater for less privileged children and educate and defend their rights.
Your love for the work of God is amazing. You put all your trust in Him, the reason why your best moment is while praying and when singing praises to the Most High. You build, teach, counsel and return peace to many broken homes through a rare gift God endowed you with. Indeed, you are a Mother in Israel!
On this day, I bless the name of God for giving me the best woman as a friend, associate, gist partner, prayer partner, wife and mother.
I bless the womb that conceived you and the loin that produced you.
I bless the name of Jesus for the day we met and the journey that has been directed by the Holy Spirit.
I may not have money to celebrate you as I would have loved to do, but be assured that your labour of love is not in vain.
Anyway, is there any better way to celebrate a proud mother @ 50 whose daughter, Tunmise, will in the next 48 hours, take a bow at the International Conference Hall of the University of Ibadan (UI) and be proclaimed a First Class Graduate of Law!
I can’t wait to see you dancing again as you did when Tofunmi achieved the same feat as a Civil Engineering graduate of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology early in the year.
My inner being and my God pray that you live long to eat the fruit of your labour.
The world will surely celebrate you. From today, you will begin to live a golden life. No sorrow, no pains, no loss of lives, no sickness shall be your portion in the mighty name of God. Resounding success in all ramifications, breakthrough, multi-dimensional blessings, peace of mind, good health, and victory in all ways shall be yours in the mighty name of Jesus.
All your biological and spiritual children will rule the world and they shall be called blessed in Jesus name. Two of us will live long in good health to proclaim the goodness of God in the mighty name of Jesus.
Happy birthday to my pretty, beautiful, brilliant and fantabulous wife and friend.
Your days shall be like a tree planted by the riverside that produces fruits at all seasons and whatever you touch shall prosper in the mighty name of Jesus.
Be assured of my love forever my Angel. Aseyi samodun loruko Jesu my amazing Grace. Iyawo Muyiwa!
