The celebration of unity and development at the 2024 Ogudu Day at Ogudu in the Kosofe Local Government area of Lagos State was a source of excitement to Ogudu Kingdom.
The yearly event led by the Ologudu of Ogudu, Oba Najimudeen Akinwunmi Fashola (Ogabi1), had in attendance eminent sons and daughters of the community.
They included the Olukosi of Oguduland, Adewale Fashola; the Akogun of Ogudu land, Chief Mustapha Lawal; and the Aro of Olusosun, Chief Mustapha Adewale.
The Ologudu, Oba Fashola, expressed appreciation to all and sundry, who made the celebration and Ojude Oba annual event a successful and memorable one.
He said, “I sincerely thank all my people, men and women, including chief Imam of Oguduland, Yusuf Furojaiye, Chief Odofin Alani Fashola, Ajagunna and Babaloja- General of Kosofe, Chief Adisa Fashola, prominent chiefs, lya Agan and lya Osun and Ogudu youth, we will all witness more of such celebrations in the name of God.
“My sincere appreciation also goes to Senator Tokunboh Abiru, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, as well as other political office holders in Kosofe and beyond.
“Worthy of note is the Kosofe Council Chief, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, who recently gave out brand new cars to all Kosofe traditional rulers.
“I pray God continues to strengthen him as he aspires to lead the council for another four-year term,” the monarch stated.
