SURVEYORS in Ekiti State have hailed the admission of two of their members, Surv. Julius Feyisayo Aduloju and Surv. Dr Emmanuel Rotimi Adegboyega, to the prestigious Board of Fellows of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, describing it as well-deserving.
The Chairman, Body of Fellows, Ekiti State, Surv Rufus O. Ogunleye and Secretary, Surv. Dr Oyedokun Augustine Abiodun, said that the award of Fellow, the highest position in the membership cadre of the NIS, to Surveyors Aduloju and Adegboyega is a testament to their unwavering commitment, exemplary service, and significant contributions to the progress and development of surveying in Nigeria”.
Surveyors Ogunleye and Abiodun, in a statement made available in Ado Ekiti on Monday, stated, “The entire surveying fraternity in Ekiti State, members of Body of Fellows Ekiti State and indeed across Nigeria rejoice with immense pride and delight on the well-deserved admission of two of our distinguished members, Surveyor Aduloju and Surveyor Adegboyega into the esteemed Board of Fellows of the NIS.
“The criteria for this exalted membership – encompassing good character, sound moral and ethical practice, and demonstrable exemplary service – speak volumes about the sterling qualities that Surv. Aduloju and Surv. Adegboyega embody.
“They have not only excelled in their professional endeavours, but have also served as worthy ambassadors, embodying the very image of integrity and competence that the public associates with our profession”.
The Body of Fellows leadership, while hailing the two surveyors, said, “Your admission into the NIS Board of Fellows is a recognition of your past achievements and an affirmation of the leadership and guidance you will undoubtedly provide in the years to come.
“We, members of Ekiti State Body of Fellows and NIS in Ekiti State, have witnessed firsthand your dedication, your passion, and your commitment to upholding the highest standards of surveying practice”.
While noting that the duo would be officially inducted in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Tuesday, Ogunleye and Abiodun said, “We wish you a joyous and memorable induction ceremony in Akure and look forward to your continued impactful contributions to the NIS.
“We extend our warmest congratulations to you on this truly laudable achievement. May this elevation inspire you to even greater heights in service to our Institution and the nation,” they stated.
