The INEC National Commissioner said, “It is my strong desire to make functional and practical knowledge available to Political Science students.
“The Moot Parliament is expected to transform the teaching of the component courses of democracy and governance from solely classroom theorizing to something functionally practical”.
He stressed that the Moot Parliament would serve as an appropriate venue for Parliamentary debate for the legislative arm of the National Association of Political Science Students, EKSU Chapter, and also assist the department in satisfying the National Universities Commission requirements for programme accreditation in future.
Ajayi hailed EKSU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Babatola Ayodele, describing him as a visionary leader and a lover of progress.
The VC, Prof. Ayodele, on behalf of the University Governing Council and management, appreciated the INEC national commissioner and assured him that the school authority would make the best use of the facility.
