The Federal Government has appointed about 560 persons as chairmen and members of the governing councils of the federal tertiary institutions in the country.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Nnamdi Mbaeri, stated that l President Bola Tinubu approved the reconstituted Governing Councils and Boards of federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
Mbaeri noted that the approval was given for the effective management of Nigerian tertiary institutions across the country.
