Interested political parties and aspirants for chairmanship and councilorship positions in the local governments (LGs) and local council development areas (LCDAs) in Ekiti State can start warming up.
This is as the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission on Monday released the timetable of activities for the next local government elections in the state including the date of the polls.
Going by the timetable, the election into the local governments and LCDAs will hold on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
