A 17-year-old boy is alleged to have sexually assaulted several women across two hours on public transport.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the series of incidents which occurred on London’s transport network last Friday evening.
The incidents began at approximately 4.40pm on September 5 when a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by the teenager on a Bakerloo line train at Harlesden Underground station.
The suspect then is claimed to have continued his attacks with sexual assaults on two more women on a Thameslink train and at Blackfriars railway station platform shortly after the initial incident.
The alleged offences continued with another attack on a woman aboard a Thameslink train heading towards St Pancras railway station at around 6.40pm, followed by a fifth assault at West Hampstead Thameslink station at approximately 7.00pm.
The British Transport Police said it has made an arrest in connection with the incidents, and further enquiries are ongoing. It is urging anyone who witnessed these incidents to come forward, as well as any individuals who may have been victims themselves.

The full police statement read: “Officers investigating a number of linked sexual offences are appealing for witnesses to come forward. The first incident happened at around 4.40pm on Friday 5 September on a Bakerloo line train at Harlesden Underground station. A woman was on the train when she was sexually assaulted by a 17-year-old boy.
“Soon afterwards he sexually assaulted two more women on a Thameslink train and the platform at Blackfriars railway station. He then attacked another woman on a Thameslink train towards St Pancras railway station at around 6.40pm and then another woman at West Hampstead Thameslink station at around 7pm.
