The Federal Government on Tuesday invited the organised labour to a meeting in a bid to end the ongoing nationwide strike called by Labour.
The FG made the invitation through the National Salaries Wages and Income Commission, has extended an invitation to the leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress.
However, it is not yet clear if the Labour leaders will attend the meeting.
In the ongoing strike which began on Monday, some unions have shut their workplaces to comply with the directive of the two labour unions to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike.
