Ondo poll: HASC member, Oladejo Adeloye, decries attack on him by PDP hoodlums

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and member, Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Oladejo Adeloye, has decried the attack on him by People’s Democratic Party (PDP) hoodlums during the governorship election on Saturday, November 16, 2024

Adeloye, a former chairman of Idanre Local Government, said that the hoodlums allegedly being used by a top PDP member in the community, attacked and injured him at his Lafere/Idanre High School unit (Unit 7), Alade/Atosin Ward 2, Idanre Local Government.

The former member of Ondo State House of Assembly, who said that the PDP hoodlums attacked him with guns, clubs, stones and other dangerous weapons, said that he sustained injuries to his head and mouth in the process.

The former lawmaker called for Justice in the matter.

He said, “The hoodlums attacked and seriously injured me at my polling unit today (Saturday) at my unit while I was performing my civic responsibility.

“The hoodlums were armed with guns, cutlasses, clubs, stones, knives, horse whips and other dangerous weapons. They came to the polling unit at 2.10pm.

“My case in the incident was like the case of Daniel in the den of lions. Their intention was to kill me, but God miraculously saved me.

“They beat me to the extent that blood was gushing out of my mouth. All sides of my head were swollen as a result of stones and clubs attack,” the APC chieftain said.
