Oyebanji appoints two tutors-general

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of two new Tutors-General to fill the existing vacancies in the administration of public secondary schools in the State.

They are Mrs Ajayi Stella Adekemi and Mrs Adesuyi Temitope Bukola.

The Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mr Michael Boluwade, said in a statement that the new Tutors-Generals were appointed to fill the vacancies created by the retirement of Mrs Adesola Ogunkorode and Mrs Arike Aladesanmi, Tutors-General for Ekiti North and Central respectively on attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60.

According to the statement, Mrs Ajayi, a former State Secretary of All Nigeria Confederation of Principal of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) is a 1988 graduate of English Education from the then Ondo State University, Ado Ekiti (OSUA), now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) and was until her appointment the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics of the State TESCOM.

Also, Mrs Adesuyi is a 1989 graduate of English and Literary Studies from the then OSUA now EKSU and was until her appointment as Tutor General, the Principal of Ikere High School, Ikere Ekiti.

The appointments take immediate effect.
