The Oore of Otun Ekiti and the Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, on Friday began activities marking his 5th Coronation Anniversary with thanksgiving during Jumat Service in his community.

The thanksgiving event, which held at the Central Mosque, Otun Ekiti, had in attendance prominent indigenes, members of the Oore-in-Council, notable Islamic clerics from the area and Muslim faithful.

In the spirit of thanksgiving to God, the Oore made a handsome donation for the development of the Central Mosque.

Oba Adeagbo on the occasion, thanked God for the peace, unity and development which the community had witnessed and the good health and progress in the lives of indigenes of the community under his reign in the last five years.

He also thankfully prayed for hitch-free celebrations and as well further growth in the years ahead.

Oba Adeagbo, who will clock five years on the throne on Tuesday December 23, 2025, has lined up series of activities for the milestone.

These included Unity Walk and visit of Oore Foundation to Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti on Monday, December 22; fundraising and conferment of honorary chieftaincy on Tuesday, December 23; 2025 Otun Day celebration on Friday, December 26; and Coronation Thanksgiving Service of Oore and 40th Birthday celebration of Olori Abidemi Adekunle Adeagbo on Saturday, December 27.
