The Regent of Ayeka Kingdom in Ondo State, Princess Oluyemi Bajowa, has canvassed new strategy to tame incessant kidnappings and senseless killings in the country.
Regent Bajowa urged the government “to equip the military with adequate weapons to carry out their duties and ensure the maximum safety of Nigerians and their properties and also design a new strategy to stop the incessant kidnapping and killings across the country.
Regent Bajowa, who is the Chief Executive Officer of AWAWA Communications, owners of Awawa 94.1FM, spoke in her Nigeria’s Independence Day message to the people of Ayeka Kingdom, Ondo State and Nigerians.
She advised governments in the country to step up actions to cushion the effects of removal of fuel subsidy on the people, saying such would palliate the pains of masses as she urged governments to, as well, “do everything possible to bring Nigeria’s economy back to its best for everyone to be comfortable”.
The regent, who canvassed ceaseless prayers for the country and its leaders, said, “Nigeria leaders needs the divine wisdom knowledge and understanding to drive the nation to the promise land”.
Regent Bajowa also charged Nigerians “to ensure maximum co-operation with the leaders of the country at all levels in order to make Nigeria a better place for everyone”.
She congratulated Nigerians on the 63rd independence anniversary and as well gave kudos to Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu “for their good works and appreciate their efforts towards moving the state and the country forward”.
The regent acknowledged the efforts of the country’s past heroes and charged the present administration to ensure stability of the country, while hailing Nigerian soldiers and other security agencies for their great efforts to ensure security in the country.
