The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Olabanji, has called on Nigerians, Muslims especially to use the festive season as motivation for the love of common humanity.
Olabanji called on staff of the hospital to always work for the
development of the institution.
The CMD, in his Eid-el-Kabir message to EKSUTH Muslims and other members of staff signed by the Head, EKSUTH Corporate Affaits Department, Rolake Adewumi, said that the teachings of Islam should be put into practice while delivering quality health care services to the people.
Olabanji said that the tenets are motivation for doing good for the society and humanity.
The CMD congratulated the Muslim Ummah in EKSUTH for the celebration of the Sallah and the gift of life, praying they would live to celebrate many more years ahead.
He used the occasion to call on all Muslims to reflect on the significance of sacrifice epitomised by the Eid.
Olabanji also urged Muslims to show love and care to the needy and neighbours while celebrating this spiritual important event.
