President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr Saviour Enyiekere as Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) for a five-year renewable term.
The President, according to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday also approved the appointment of 12 commission members comprising two members from each of the six geopolitical zones.
Like the chairperson, members of the Commission shall hold office for a renewable term of five years.
Until his appointment, he new chairman, Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, was the deputy chief of staff to the Senate President.
The 12 members are:
