Victory in court case on Oore stool excites Oba Adeagbo

The Oore of Otun Ekiti and the Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye l, Okinbaloye ll, has called of all royal houses and indeed all indigenes of Otun Ekiti to work together for the greatness of the town.

The Oore who said beauty and growth come in the atmosphere of unity and togetherness, appealed to the indigenes that the community is for all to develop for prosperity, hence the need for all to come together and bury their differences.

Oba Adeagbo, who spoke at the Oore Palace on Wednesday in reaction to the court judgment which described him as the rightful monarch in the community having satisfied all necessary conditions and stipulations.

Justice Olalekan Olatawura of an Ekiti State High Court, Ado Ekiti Division, had in a judgment in a suit challenging the ascension of Oba Adeagbo to the throne, ruled in favour of Oba Adeagbo as the rightful occupant of the Oore throne.

The suit has lingered on for four years.

Oba Adeagbo, who said he has no grudge against anybody over the just concluded litigation, said, “There is no harm in approaching court to seek redress.

“But justice has been served in the matter by the law court. I say congratulations to equity, justice and fairness.

“Big congratulations to Otun Ekiti sons and daughters. All our opponents are forgiven, let us work together for the greatness of Otun Ekiti, Mobaland, Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.

“I am happy for the justice that has been done, Otun Ekiti is happy and the Oore stool is stronger for this development,” the traditional ruler said.
