Ekiti State Government has fixed Thursday July 17, 2025 for the All Ekiti All Secondary Schools Creative Arts Competition.
The state Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, organisers of the contest, stated that attractive prizes and cash rewards awaited the first, second and third positions.
The four-hour contest taking off by 9am will hold at Civic Centre, Fajuyi, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital.
According to pamphlets from the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, “each school will be represented by two students preferably one male and one female, where posible”.
It stated that for the task, participating schools are to “illustrate the achievements of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji”.
Participating schools are to do the illustration through Painting or Textile or Sculpture or Drawing or Ceramics or Crafts.
The prizes for the winners are
*1st position – N400,000 plus a trophy
*2nd position – N250,000 plus a plaque
*3rd position – N200,000 plus a certificate.
*Also, the schools that emerge 4th to 10th positions will receive N50,000 consolatory prizes each.
