National Assembly member, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will witness unprecedented economic recovery in the new year following various economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu in the last one and half years.

Kolawole, who represents, Ekiti North Federal Constituency II at the House of Representatives, spoke in his New Year message made available to newsmen at his Ikosu Ekiti hometown.

He said, “2025 will be a reference year of a new beginning of abundance for all Nigerians because of the positive results of the reforms of the present administration for a sustainable growth and development which will soon be witnessed”.

Kolawole expressed optimism over what he called “a major change from economic doldrums and stagnation to a prosperous and vivid economic reality capable of banishing poverty and penury in the country through President Tinubu’s aggressive move to bring Nigeria back to track after many years of maladministration.

“The hope is here. We will begin to witness it as from this year. The solid foundation laid for such by the President will make it to be sustained and built upon by successive administrations for the development of the country,” he said.

The lawmaker saluted Nigerians for their patience and understanding despite the economic hardship, but he submitted that, “the sacrifice is worthy for a better future for the present generation and unborn ones”.

Kolawole enjoined all Nigerians to continue to rally support the current leadership in the country, especially President Tinubu and Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, who he said, “are working so hard to develop the society”.

While congratulating Nigerians especially his constituents in Moba, Ido/Osi and Ilejemeje local government areas of Ekiti State, Hon. Kolawole reassured them of better and responsive representation in the New Year in order to bring more dividends of democracy to the constituency, Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole.

Recall that Hon. Kolawole during the Yuletide season distributed cash, rice and other foodstuffs worth over N100 million to different groups across the state.
