@60: Success of MGS old students excites Oba Adeagbo

* Monarch hails school’s alumni association

The Oore of Otun Ekiti and the paramount ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, has taken pride in the products of Moba Grammar School, Otun Ekiti as the institution clocks 60 years.

Oba Adeagbo, who described MGS as one of the best secondary schools in the world, said, “I am happy about the success and achievements of the products of this school making exploits in different fields across the country and globe.

“The school has produced High Court Judges, kings, IT international giants, renowned politicians etc”.

Oba Adeagbo, who spoke at Otun Ekiti when he led Moba traditional rulers to the 60th Anniversary of the school, disclosed that the school would soon “start online programmes that will be of immense benefit to Moba communities, Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.

“This revered school says a lot about our history and heritage as a people,” Oba Adeagbo said.

The Oore, who does not repent in contributing his quota to the development of MGS, prayed for the prosperity of the revered school and its products, adding, “Education is the key to a bright and rewarding future”.

He thanked the Almighty God for the unity that exists among the 13 communities that make up Moba Local Government, reiterating that “education, as provided by the school, is a bedrock of our development which will have impact on generations yet unborn”.

Oba Adeagbo lauded the alumni association of the school for the contribution to the institution and Moba communities.

He appreciated the outgoing President of Moba Grammar School Alumni Association, Elder S.O. Bankole, a former Head of Service, Ekiti State from Otun Ekiti and the incoming President, Engr Prince Olajide Ajibola, a seasoned computer and technology guru from Ikun Ekiti, Mobaland.
