Oore sympathises with Ekiti Deputy Gov on mother’s death

* Lauds Afuye for wisdom in handling chieftaincy matters

The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, has condoled with the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye, on the death of her mother.

The deputy governor’s mother, Olori Olori Esther Iyalaje Adegboye, died on Tuesday at the age of 97 years.

Oba Adeagbo, who is the Southwest Coordinator of the National Council of Traditional Rulers, described the deputy governor’s late mother as special, saying, “Although we love her, the Almighty God loves her more”.

The monarch said the late Olori Adegboye lived well and produced children who are pride to Ekiti State including the deputy governor

The Oore appreciated the Deputy Governor, describing her as “a blessing to Ekiti State.

“The Deputy Governor is very very mature, calm and experienced. God endowed her with wisdom with which she is handling chieftaincy matters in the state”.

The Oore prayed for the Deputy Governor, her siblings and the family for the fortitude to bear the loss

The Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs Afuye, appreciated the Oore for his visit and coming to Ikere Ekiti.
