* As Oore organises Ramadan lecture in palace

The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, has hailed Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for supporting the development of Otun Ekiti.
Oba Adeagbo, who is the Southwest Coordinator of National Council of Traditional Rulers, appreciated the governor for granting land for a proposed world class College of Nursing in Otun Ekiti.
The Oore, in a statement at Otun Ekiti on Friday, said that the governor’s gesture spoke volumes about his especial interest in healthcare delivery and human capital development.
Oba Adeagbo also thanked the governor for his foresight in creating a balance of infrastructural development in the 16 local government areas.
The state government had conveyed the granting of the land to Otun Ekiti in a letter to the monarch by the Executive Director, Board for Technical and Vocational Education, signed on his behalf by the Director of Programmes, A.T Adebayo.
The BTVE Executive Secretary had in the letter dated March 5, 2025, stated, “I am directed to inform Your Imperial Majesty that approval on the request has been granted by His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who has directed that an expanse of 10 hectares be released to Otun-Ekiti community for same purpose.
“Congratulations to Your Majesty and the entire Otun-Ekiti community,” the top government official stated.
In another development, Oba Adeagbo is sponsoring Ramadan lecture at the Oore Palace, Otun Ekiti.
The monarch prayed, “May our community, state and country flourish, Ameena. Happy Ramadan”.
