The Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, celebrated her 60th birthday with prayers and thanksgiving as Nigerians thronged the venue to celebrate her on the occasion.
Encomiums were poured on the deputy govern by dignitaries and Nigerians from different walks.

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, described the Deputy Governor as an able, dependable lieutenant whose leadership, loyalty, and commitment have been instrumental to the success of his administration.
Abiodun, in a congratulatory message, said, “The Deputy Governor has consistently demonstrated rare leadership qualities and made significant contributions to the effective implementation of the administration’s Building Our Future Together Agenda”.
The governor said, “Engr. Salako-Oyedele has remained a source of inspiration to women, young professionals, and the people of Ogun State. Her wise counsel, diligence, and unwavering commitment to excellence have greatly enhanced the stability and effectiveness of the government.

“With your support, loyalty, and collaborative spirit, we have been able to deliver on our mandate and positively impact the lives of our people,” the governor stated.
Also congratulating Engr. Salako-Oyedele, the Minister for Women Affairs, Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, described her as a trailblazer who has consistently lived and led with integrity, vision, and hard work.
“Throughout your career, you have provided a masterclass in balancing professional excellence with compassionate, people-centred leadership. On behalf of Nigerian women, children, families, and other vulnerable groups we serve, we salute your contributions to governance and your unwavering commitment to the upliftment of women and children,” the Minister said.

Similarly, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, described her Ogun State counterpart as an amazon of loyalty, noting that Engr. Salako-Oyedele is a dependable political ally whose steadfast support for her principal has strengthened governance and leadership cohesion.
Other well-wishers include the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Morgan Bank, Mr. Ade Buraimo, who, on behalf of the management and staff of the organisation, extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Governor.
He noted that the celebration goes beyond the number of years attained, but honours a legacy defined by purpose, service, and positive public impact.

The Deputy Governor, appreciative of the gestures towards her on the occasion, penned a thank you message titled “Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Rabbil Alamin”.
In the message, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele stated, “I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for the gift of life, good health, and His endless mercy as I turned 60 today. Reaching this milestone is by His grace alone, and my heart is full of thanks.
“I am truly humbled by the love and support shown to me. That so many eminent Nigerians set aside their busy schedules, and took time out to join me for prayers and thanksgiving, call or send messages means more to me than words can express.

“My sincere appreciation goes to the esteemed Ulamah for leading us in Dua and reminding us of gratitude, humility, and service. I thank my parents for the strong foundation from which all I have achieved has emanated, my husband and children for their love and constant support, and my family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for their prayers and goodwill over the years.
“May Allah accept all the Dua offered, reward everyone who stood with me, and grant us long life in good health, Iman, and usefulness to humanity. Jazakum Allahu khayran,” the deputy governor prayed.
