‎Being the congratulatory message of ‎AgbaAkin Olufemi Aduloju OJA1 to Governor Oyebanji and the People of Ekiti State

‎BAO 2.0: From the past, through the present, into the future — Keeping faith with a leader who keeps his words

‎Your Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji; Your Excellency, Deputy Governor Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye; and the good people of Ekiti State, I bring you warm congratulations on the beginning of another historic chapter in our dear state.
‎
‎Ekiti State has indeed made history. With Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji sworn in for a second term, he becomes the first governor to lead our state back-to-back. This means eight years of rapid development and the fulfilment of a continuity and progress agenda.
‎
‎Looking back, the journey has been remarkable. Between 2022 and 2026, several infrastructure and development milestones were achieved through the Governor’s blueprint and developmental agenda, making Ekiti State a pace-setter.

Our primary, secondary, and tertiary education received attention. Youths were empowered through agriculture, technology and other sectors. Roads were constructed, modern structures were introduced and standard infrastructure began to spread across the state.
‎
‎The man of the moment needs no introduction. He was well known across Ekiti State even before he became governor in 2022. He is charismatic, passionate, dependable, and trustworthy. He is loved and appreciated by the sons and daughters of Ekiti. He loves to be called BAO and he is a development strategist in both human and infrastructural development.
‎
‎Now, the present moment is upon us. A fresh journey of good governance has begun. The oath of office has been taken. BAO has kicked off another tenure of massive road construction, modern structures, and standard infrastructure across the state. The venue was filled to capacity and attended by highly distinguished personalities.

The No. 1 citizen of our state has commenced his second-term tenure, dedicating these next four years into the hands of the Lord.
‎
‎Looking into the future, the expectations are high and the promises are clear. From 2026 to 2030, we should expect more rural and urban roads, more health centres, more general hospitals, and feasible, impactful and laudable projects. Ongoing projects will be completed. Our own media outfit, the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, shall receive a new facelift. More youths will be empowered through agriculture, technology, and other sectors. This tenure, I can beat my chest, will surpass the first term in office of Mr. Governor.
‎
‎The Governor’s core governance and development agenda focuses on a 30-Year Transformation Agenda and a six-point development plan. Ekiti kete, let us wait eagerly to witness another round of development. Let us wait to see wonders from Governor BAO in the next four years.

But beyond waiting, let us also keep faith. Let us support the Governor and his Deputy. Let us pray for them, encourage them, and remain united. Development is a collective responsibility. The people’s government belongs to the people, and it deserves the people’s patience, trust, and cooperation. Do not waver. Continue to believe in the vision. Continue to believe in Ekiti State.
‎
‎Let me round this up by congratulating the second-term, back-to-back Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye. I personally wish the people’s government a smooth run.
‎
‎Congratulations once again.
