The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) will matriculate newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic calendar on Thursday, November 16, 2023 and Friday, November 17, 2023.
Fresh students admitted into the College of Medicine; and faculties of Basic Medical Sciences; Arts; Science: Management Science; Education; Communication and Media Studies; and Social Sciences among others will have their matriculation ceremony on November 16 on the Oye Main Campus of the University.
Those admitted into the faculties of Agriculture; Engineering and Environmental Design; and Management will have their matriculation ceremony on lkole campus on Friday.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC), Administration and Chairman of the University Ceremonial Committee, Prof. Tajudeen Opoola, assured that concrete plans had been concluded for a successful conduct of the ceremony.
Opoola said that the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina, who is the chief host of the event, while inviting all parents and guardians to the occasion, had assured the students of a secured and conducive learning environment and smooth academic calendar.
Ina related development, the DVC Academics, Prof. Olubunmi Shittu, urged newly admitted students to ensure that they completed all sundry payments, adding that freshers that they would not get matriculation numbers without payment of their school fees.
The FUOYE authorities, however, reminded the students of a loan facility for indigent students, advising them to utilize the lofty opportunity.
