The Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice John Adeyeye, has constituted the Election Petitions Tribunal to entertain petitions relating to the just concluded Local Government and Local Council Development Areas election in Ekiti State.

The CJ says any political party who are aggrieved or not satisfied with the outcome of the election can file their petition.

Justice Adeyeye said in a statement made available on Wednesday that “such petitions can be submitted at the Ekiti State Local Government Election Petitions Tribunal Secretariat in the High Court premises Fajuyi, Ado Ekiti between the hours of nine in the morning and half past three in the afternoon Mondays to Fridays.

“Commencement of hearing of such petitions would be communicated to the concerned parties later”.

The Chief Judge advised intending petitioners to ensure strict compliance with all laid down rules.
