The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Olabanji, has urged the Muslim faithful in the hospital to continue to devote themselves to prayers.
Olabanji, in his congratulatory message to the Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, hinged the various developmental activities going on in the hospital on answered prayer.
In a statement by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Rolake Adewumi, the CMD, while congratulating the Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, prayed Allah to keep on protecting everyone to witness many more celebrations.
He encouraged the Muslim faithful “to demonstrate the practices and virtues of the Holy month which include peace, love, kindness, tolerance and empathy”.
Olabanji said that the attributes of Islamic Faith are in tandem with the works of health practitioners, adding that the services of saving lives should be done as unto Allah.
The CMD urged the staff to continue to show greater sense of sympathy and commitment in the course of discharging their duties.
The EKSUTH boss noted that the teaching hospital is key to the delivery of health care services to Ekiti people, stressing that regular medical checkup is paramount to healthy living and encouraged all citizens to embrace it.
