The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, has congratulated Muslims on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Fitr.

Oba Adejugbe urged adherents of Islamic faith to intensify prayers for peace and progress of Nigeria and Ekiti State in particular even after the end of Ramadan.

The traditional ruler enjoined Muslims to always be their brother’s keeper, promote unity and cohesion as it was during the fasting period in whatever they do and as well live in harmony with other fellow Nigerians in fulfilment of the commandment of Allah.

He said, “The teachings and lessons of the Holy Prophet Mohammed are clear on peaceful co-existence, faithfulness, sacrifice and total submission to the will of Allah.

“Therefore, Muslim faithful are urged to imbibe the spirit of love and unity to ensure the prosperity of the country”.

Oba Adejugbe called for more prayers during this season to grant the leaders at both the state and the country the wisdom needed to fix the country and make the inhabitants rejoice.
