The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi 111, has urged Nigerians to see in the Yuletide season year another opportunity to strengthen relationships and show love to one another particularly the less-privileged.
Oba Adejugbe, in his Christmas message, called for prayers for “peace, hope and love that reflect the life of Jesus Christ to be imbibed and shown to all by all the people”.
The royal father said, “Despite the economic challenges facing the country, there is the need to appreciate the goodness of God.
“I call on the people to use the Yuletide to reflect on the significance of the season by showing love and affection to the less privileged in the society”.
The traditional ruler added that while celebrating, the members of Ewi-in-Council, Ekiti people and Nigerians at large should use the season to strengthen relationship with one another.
The monarch prayed for peaceful celebration filled with laughter, love and cherished memories.
