The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland Ekiti, His Majesty, Oba Dr Adekunle Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye I, has congratulated a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on his nomination as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Femi Fani-Kayode is the Aare Ajagunla of Mobaland, Otun Ekiti.
Oba Adeagbo, in a statement on Sunday stated, “We are delighted by this honour done one of our sons, the Aare Ajagunla of Mobaland, Otun Ekiti, by the Federal Government.
“We are proud of you. Well done. More glory and more grace,” the Oore said.

President Bola Tinubu had on Saturday sent the names of the 32 individuals including Femi Fani-Kayode nominated for ambassadorial positions to the Senate for confirmation .
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, had listed them to include Barrister Ogbonnaya Kalu from Abia; a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri (Delta); former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmud Yakubu; former Ekiti first lady, Erelu Angela Adebayo; Otunba Femi Pedro, a former deputy governor of Lagos State; Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister from Osun State; Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, businessman, lawyer and Senator from Ondo State, and former Enugu governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
