Birthday: Ekiti monarch gets community school renovation as ‘great gift’

The Oore of Otun Ekiti, HRM Oba Adekunle Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye 1, was extremely happy on Saturday on the occasion of his birthday.

The joy of the first class traditional ruler knew no bounds as he beheld the transformation that has taken place in a school in the community, Moba Grammar School, Otun Ekiti.

The transformation, which took place in the school courtesy of the World Bank, Ekiti State Government/Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) and Egbe Omo Otun Ekiti, breathed an entirely new life into the school.

The school, as it is today has been upgraded to a world class secondary school of international standard.

Oba Adeagbo was all smiles as he led the Oore-in-Council, Otun Ekiti chiefs, leaders of thoughts and people generally on a tour of the new-look school as part of activities for his birthday celebration.

An elated Oore said, “This is a great birthday gift to me. This school founded in 1965 tells our story as a people”.
