@ Easter, EKSUTH CMD hails staff, seeks renewed commitment to saving lives

The Chief Medical Director, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Olabanji, has congratulated the EKSUTH Community for yet another Easter celebration which symbolizes a sense of joy, commitment and new beginning.

Olabanji called on the staff of the teaching hospital to use the Easter period to pray for peace and progress of Ekiti State and the hospital in particular.

The CMD, in a statement by the Head, Corporate Affairs Department, Rolake Adewumi, also hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his support and commitment to make EKSUTH the best among the committee of teaching hospitals with the provision and upgrade of facilities.

In his charge to staff, Olabanji, who likened the work of medical personnel to the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to save mankind, said, “Showing empathy and saving lives is paramount to human existence”.

The CMD, who appreciated the tenacity of staff at delivering quality Health Services to the people, urged them not to relent.

He charged everyone “to show greater diligence, commitment and dedication to duty in appreciation and recognition of the focus and numerous developmental works and activities of the governor in all areas in the institution”.

The CMD prayed for peaceful Easter Celebration while advising everyone to take care of their health.
