Ekiti monarch scales up collaboration with institutions for development

The Oore of Otun Ekiti, Paramount Ruler of Mobaland Ekiti State, His Majesty, Oba Dr Adekunle Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye I Okinbaloye II, has upscaled collaborations with government institutions as part of efforts to ensure accelerated development of his community.
Oba Adeagbo, who is the Southwest Coordinator of the National Council of Traditional Rulers, Abuja, His Majesty, recently paid courtesy calls on the leaderships of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC)and the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the headquarters of the institutions in Abuja.
The FRSC Corps Marshal, Malam Shehu Mohammed, who received Oba Adeagbo, thanked the frontline traditional ruler passionately for the royal visit.
Mohammed thanked the Kabiyesi for his support for the FRSC in Otun Ekiti Mobaland and his kind gesture for personally donating blocks for the fence construction of their office.
THE FRSC Corps Marshal stressed that “safety of our roads is critical to the economic developments of our nations since goods and services pass through major roads”.
Also at the NDLEA headquarters, the Chairman, Gen. Buba Marwa (retd) thanked the Oore for making the agency functional in Moba Local Government, where Kabiyesi is the Paramount Ruler and Permanent Chairman of Moba Traditional Rulers Council.
Marwa thanked Oba Adeagbo for the visit and encouraged collaboration between traditional institutions and government agencies.
Kabiyesi prayed for the FRSC Corps Marshal and the NDLEA chairman for success in their assignments.
The Oore promised to sensitize his community on the importance of safety on the roads and as well on the need to stay from illicit drugs.
