*Ekiti RIFAN remains intact, no division whatsoever

The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Ekiti State Chapter said that it has resolved the leadership crisis that rocked the body of recent and that members are open to collaboration to expand rice farming, processing and marketing within the state.
RIFAN members stated that under the leadership of acting Chairman Chief Adeyemi Tunde Godsfeather, it is more committed and ready to move the body to greater heights.
In a statement by members after a meeting in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, they stated, “We, the members of RIFAN, Ekiti State Chapter, hereby affirm, that our Association remains united, focused, and committed to the advancement of rice farming in the state and across the nation.
“Following the leadership crisis that has challenged our association in recent times, we are pleased to inform the general public that all internal disputes have been resolved in the best interest of our members and the development of the rice farming sector.
“The matter concerning Rev. Mrs. Agbaje has been settled, as she has officially withdrawn from any further claims over the leadership of the association.
“The Ekiti State Chapter of RIFAN remains intact, with no division whatsoever. Under the Leadership of the acting Chairman Chief Adeyemi Tunde godsfeather, we are dedicated to working closely with both the state and federal governments to support policies and initiatives that will enhance rice production and food security in Nigeria.
“Furthermore, as we enter the new farming season, we welcome investors and stakeholders who are willing to collaborate with us in expanding rice farming processing, and marketing within the State.
“Our doors are open for partnerships that will bring growth, innovation, and economic benefits to our members and the agriculture sector at larger.
“We appreciated the patience, resilience, and commitment of all our members throughout this period. Moving forward, we stand stronger together, ready to take RIFAN Ekiti State Chapter to greater heights,” the members stated.
