* Grateful to Oyebanji for appointing alumnus

The Ekiti State University, EKSU Ado Ekiti Alumni Association Worldwide has hailed the state, Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for the appointment of Professor Joseph Babatola Ayodele as the 8th substantive Vice Chancellor of the state-owned university.
The Alumni Association while congratulating Prof Ayodele, described Governor Oyebanji’s gesture as timely and accurate at a time the university needed such hand for complete overhauling.
The EKSU Alumni Association, in a statement signed by the Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye; Global Secretary, Pastor Isaac Akinleye: and Global Public Relations Officer, Olumide Abudu, urged the new VC to put in place mechanisms for speedy refill of developmental and advancement gaps that had bedeviled the university.
The Alumni Association leadership, in the statement, promised a harmonious working relationship with the new VC, who is also an eminent alumnus of the university to put the institution in right shape among comity of universities in Nigeria.
The Alumni body expressed optimism that the appointment of Professor Ayodele would bring about expected rapid development in the University.
The Alumni Association thanked the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun for his service to the University and wish him well in his future engagement.
