A 400 Level Student of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Miracle Ayodele, has sent out a passionate appeal to governments, corporate bodies and individuals to assist her financially towards undergoing surgery to remove her right leg.

Ayodele is currently groaning in pains at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti.

She was injured when a tipper hit the commercial bike she was on at the Basiri area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, while she was on transit working on her project.

Her mother, Mrs Margaret Awe, told journalists that the patient had undergone a surgery which cost almost N300,000, adding that doctors confirmed that the leg would have to be removed to save her life.

She said the surgery to remove the leg would cost over N200,000 as she called on good spirited individuals, government and corporate bodies to come to her aid.
