House of Representatives member,
Hon. Davidson Akinlayo Kolawole, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for his visionary leadership and relentless commitment to the development of Ekiti State.
Kolawole, who represents Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, specifically commended Governor Oyebanji for complementing the efforts of his predecessor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, by advancing the Ekiti Cargo Airport project.
The lawmaker, in a statement by the Akinlayo Media Team, said, “The recent approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for non-schedule flight operations at the airport is a vivid pointer to Governor Oyebanji’s steadfast resolve to position Ekiti State as a hub for economic and infrastructural growth.
“The continuity demonstrated by His Excellency in sustaining and expanding this vital legacy is a mark of exemplary leadership.
“Governor Oyebanji is not only fulfilling the dreams of Ekiti people, but also paving the way for greater economic opportunities and partnerships for our dear state,” Kolawole said.
The lawmaker lauded the governor “for leading by example and prioritizing projects that have direct impacts on the lives of the people”.
He told the governor, “Your staunch dedication to building on the achievements of your predecessor and driving development initiatives with precision and purpose reflect your passion for Ekiti’s progress. You are a worthy leader who inspires us all to serve with integrity and excellence”.
Kolawole highlighted the immense benefits of the Ekiti Cargo Airport to the state including its potential to enhance agricultural exports, attract investments and create employment opportunities for the youth.
He reiterated his full support for the governor’s vision and pledged to continue working collaboratively to ensure the prosperity of Ekiti State.
