* Campus begins admission process

The Oore of Otun Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo and the Oore-in-Council, the people of Otun Ekiti and Moba communities are full of joy over the establishment of a satellite campus of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti in Otun Ekiti.
Oba Adeagbo, who is the paramount ruler of Mobaland, while expressing the communities’ joy, said, “I am highly excited and blessed to receive this institution to my community during my reign.
“It can only be GOD Almighty and a sign that more good things are coming by the grace of God Almighty,” the monarch said.
The Oore spoke in Otun Ekiti when he led members of the Oore-in-Council on a visit to the campus, Ekiti State University Directorate of Continuing Education Centre and Part Time Programmes, Otun Ekiti Campus.
Already, EKSU Otun Ekiti Campus has begun advertising (which is ongoing) for admission into part-time programmes for the faculties of Arts, Management Sciences, Social Science, Science, Post-graduate programmes and professional participation programmes.
The Oore and the Council prayed for Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji; the council and management of EKSU and all others who made the development possible in Otun Ekiti, Mobaland.
Oba Adeagbo said, “The university campus will bring enlightenment and development to my community and the 12 communities that make up Mobaland. Otun Ekiti is also a border town to Kwara, Osun and Kogi state and I believe other states will benefit from this citadel of learning and culture.
“My message to the youths is to seize this golden opportunity and participate fully by taking advantage of the university because knowledge is power and education is key to a bright rewarding future”, Kabiyesi Oore said.
