The crowd of card-carrying All Progressives Congress members and supporters of Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa that gathered at the Ode Aye residence of business mogul and former Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon Wale Ogunmade, on Friday was impressive.
Party leaders in attendance directing the affairs included Hon Wale Ogunmade, Dr Jide Adewinle, Hon Yele aAkinya, Chief Eniku, Hon Benson Akinbo, Hon Orina and ward chairmen and leaders of Ode Ade wards 1 and 2 and a host of others.
Ogunmade said, “Morning shoes The day. The essence of this gathering is to review activities of the units and as well a get-together for Aiyedatiwa’s supporters.
“It is also in a bid to ensure a peaceful APC governorship primaries in the community on Saturday. We are impressing it in our people to know that they should set our early to vote at the primaries on Saturday.
“A memorable thing that happened here today is that some members of the Peoples Democratic Party led by Mr Adeyemo, Hon Alonge and Ward Secretary in Ode Aye joined us here for onward decamping to our party following their being impressed with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s performance in office,” Ogunmade said.
