BODE OLOFINMUAGUN
I AM very delighted to pen down this brief piece to celebrate an International scholar, an academic giant, an administrator par excellence, very cerebral and a good manager of men and resources, Professor Bamitale Omole as he clocks 70 years in the land of the living.
I give the Almighty God the glory for His grace upon the life of this erudite scholar for attaining this milestone.
I met Professor Omole physically in February, 2019 when he sent for me in his capacity as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti. I had just been assigned from the Registry Department of the university to co-ordinate the Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs.
Ever since, I have been having a robust relationship with this great man of honour, even after the completion of his tenure of office as the Pro-Chancellor of our university.
Professor Omole is a man of distinction, a beacon of all that is virtuous and almost impeccable in character. He appreciates quality delivery of service and will not hesitate to commend you if you are diligent at work.
I must confess that I always admire the way he calls me ‘Bode’ anytime he is having discussion with me either physically or through telephone conversation.
All I have to say is to congratulate you heartily for attaining this landmark. Happy birthday to you sir. I wish you many happy returns in good health and sound mind. Continue to enjoy the grace of God in the years ahead sir.
