House of Representatives member, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole, has lauded Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji for appointing more seasoned and dependable politicians as aides.

Kolawole says that the latest development has shown clearly the uncompromising and unwavering intention of the governor to run an all-inclusive administration that will allow many Ekiti indigenes and citizens to contribute their quota to the development of the state.

Oyebanji had on Tuesday evening approved appointment of about 115 special assistants, senior special assistants and technical advisors to some strategic positions as part of efforts to position his administration for optimal service delivery.

Kolawole, the lawmaker representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II at the National Assembly, in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Thursday described the appointments as another milestone of the present administration in the state, saying, “The appointees will contribute positively to the development of the state to achieve Governor Oyebanji’s targeted goals of a prosperous state.

“Ekiti has been witnessing unprecedented and second to none development since inception of the present administration in all the sectors of economy of the State. The focus on health, road, agriculture, electricity, water and welfare of workers, among others could not be underestimated”.

The lawmaker congratulated the new appointees comprising 45 SSAs, 64 SAs and six TAs, charging them to “live above board” by being dedicated and committed at serving the people of the state.

Kolawole stressed the need for total loyalty to the governor and party leadership in order to justify the confidence reposed in them.
