Shun petty politics, focus on delivery of good governance, Oyebanji tells advisors

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has told the Body of Technical Advisors to be focused in delivering of his six-point agenda to the people.

The governor spoke at a strategic meeting with the “Technocrats in Politics” in his conference room on Friday June 15, according to a statement by the Technical Advisor on Public Communication (Political), Akogun Tai Oguntayo.

Oguntayo stated that Oyebanji assured the advisors of conducive working condition.

The governor also advised them “to make best use of their office for the transformation of their respective MDAs”, citing examples of how he pioneered some new ministries as commissioner in the previous administration.

Oyebanji also urged the BTA not to be distracted by petty politics but join hands with him to deliver good governance to Ekiti people. He stressed that regardless of the distractions from the fifth columnists, the Lord that had brought him thus far will not abandon him.

Oguntayo stated that Oyebanji was really at home with the BTA as he spent quality time with them.
