In the heart of Ekiti State, a pillar has fallen. The sudden departure of Barrister Paul Ayodele Omotoso, the State Chairman of APC, Ekiti State chapter, has left a void that echoes through the very soul of the land. A great leader, a tenacious force, a well-focused visionary, and a masterful organizer, Late Omotoso’s legacy shines bright in the annals of Ekiti’s political history.

His friendly demeanor, his humane touch, and his humble spirit endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. A great supporter, reliable and dependable, he was always eager to extend a helping hand to those in need. From the moment our paths crossed in 2007, a bond of respect and admiration blossomed, underpinned by his unwavering loyalty to those he held dear.

As I ascended to the esteemed position of Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Barrister Omotoso’s guidance and wisdom became invaluable to me. A passionate leader through and through, he was never short of sage advice, always striving to steer his comrades towards the path of progress and unity.

Under his astute leadership, the APC in Ekiti State soared to back-to-back victories, earning him the revered title of “Mr. Continuity.” His dedication, his unwavering commitment to the cause, and his unyielding spirit inspired all who followed in his wake.

In the tapestry of Ekiti’s history, Barrister Paul Ayodele Omotoso’s legacy shall forever be etched in gold. His absence leaves a chasm that can never be filled, his memory a beacon of light that shall guide us through the darkest of times.

As we bid farewell to a titan of our time, let us remember his words: “In unity, in strength; in perseverance, in triumph.” May his spirit continue to guide us, may his legacy endure, and may his memory be a source of solace in our time of mourning.
