Staff, patients hail Oyebanji for new lease of life at EKSUTH

The new lease of life being given Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti through the ongoing renovation and re-equipping has attracted commendations from the management, staff and patients.

They are full of praises and appreciation to Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for the focus on the tertiary health facility towards its total renewal.

* Newly renovated Main Theatre

At present, a lot of developmental activities are ongoing in the hospital for more improved delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of Ekiti State, a statement by EKSUTH Corporate Affairs Head, Rolake Adewumi, on Wednesday added.

Staff and patients described the recent face-lifting of the Male and Female Medical Wards with state of the art equipment as a great relief for patients for medical attention under a conductive environment.

The state government has also upgraded the Main Theatre of the Hospital to a world class status with adequate facilities to enhance surgeries.

This is in addition to provision of tools with other conveniences, described as boosters to the morale of the staff working in the wards.

* New-look Male Medical Ward 

The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Kayode Olabanji, said that with the new development, “Ekiti people will continue to receive the best healthcare services and as well reduce their medical tourism outside the state/country”.

Olabanji, who said that the developmental strides of the Oyebanji-led administration are not limited to the above mentioned wards alone, said “There is a continuing attention to the Hospital”.

* New-look female Medical Ward

The CMD also acknowledged the cooperation of the Chairman of Board of Management of the Hospital, Dr Adedamola Dada and the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Oyebanji Filani at ensuring the all-round development of the Hospital.
