Tinubu appoints four new perm secs

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.

This was contained in a statement signed Thursday by Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta from Bayelsa State, Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella from Enugu, Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State, and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil from Ogun.

The appointments followed what was described as a rigorous and transparent selection process, in line with the administration’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence in the Civil Service.

According to a statement from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the new Permanent Secretaries bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, a development expected to further strengthen public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, congratulated the appointees and commended President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to entrenching transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism in the Civil Service.

She noted that the appointments reflect the administration’s dedication to fostering a competent and results-oriented public service capable of effectively meeting the needs of Nigerians.
