The Moba Local Government Traditional Council, Ekiti State has appreciated the Ooni of Ife and the Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, for his warm reception and kindness to monarchs in the local government. area.

The traditional rulers in the local government area, led by the Oore of Otun Ekiti and the Chairman, Moba Traditional Council Of Obas-Kings, Ekiti State, had last week visited the Ooni at Ile Ife, Osun State to inform him of the 100th birthday and 60th coronation anniversaries of the Obanikosu of Ikosu Ekiti, Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye.

The Moba Traditional Council, in a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ dated July 13, 2025 by its Chairman and Southwest Coordinator of NCTRN, Oba Adeagbo and Secretary, John Olabode Ogidiolu, expressed gratitude to Oba Ogunwusi for the warm reception accorded its members during the visit to Ile Ife.

Part of the letter reads: “On behalf of Kabiyesi Obanikosu, HRM, Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye and the members of Moba Traditional Rulers Council, we wish to thank and appreciate your Imperial Majesty for a cash gift of N5million during our visit to your palace.

“Moba Traditional Rulers’ Council is indeed very grateful for the warm reception accorded us during our visit to your Imperial Majesty. It is our prayer that God Almighty will continue to protect your Majesty and keep your Imperial Majesty shining forever.

“Thank you for your kindness towards, Kabiyesi Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye and the members of Moba Traditional Rulers’ Council during our visit to inform your Imperial Majesty about the 100th birthday and 60th coronation anniversary of Obanikosu in which your Imperial Majesty played a significant role that we will forever remember in Mobaland.
