EKSU Alumni association hails Oyebanji for extension of IPP to Ekiti varsity

* Thankful for appointment of members into political offices

The Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti (EKSU) Alumni Association Worldwide has hailed the state Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for living up to his billing by extending the Independent Power Plant (IPP) project to the university community.

EKSU Alumni Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, lauded Governor Oyebanji for fulfilling his electioneering promises to transform the institution of higher learning to enviable heights among comity of universities.

Bamisaye hailed the governor, who is an alumnus, for making the development of the state-owned university a priority of his administration.

Bamisaye said, “As a state with the slogan of ‘Fountain of Knowledge’, extension of such facility (IPP) will boost academic activities in the University.

“The Alumni Association salutes the governor for the good gesture and wishes him more impactful tenure.

“The association also commends Governor Oyebanji for the appointments offered its members so far.

“The Alumni association seeks more collaborative opportunities with the state government on the development of the University and the Association.

“The Alumni Association will continue to have meaningful engagements with the state government and management of the institution towards the advancement of EKSU,” Bamisaye stated.
